Hey Dolls! Ever felt like you had a love/ hate relationship with your hair shrinkage? Well I have. For the most part I love the shrinkage whenever I wanna go for the short look, however when I want my hair to be stretched I cant achieve the look without subtracting moisturizing from my regimen. The least little bit of moisture my hair gets, it shrinks up almost immediately. Giving me no love in the length department.

When my hair is shrunken this much you cant even see all the growth improvements I’ve made since my last two henna treatments! Anyone have any heat free tips they could share with me on how I can keep my hair moisturized and stretched at the same time?!
I’m 24 and live in Florida. However I dream of moving to a city thats big enough for me and my in your face personality! I love all things hip hop and artsy as well as enjoying a good urban novel every now and then. I am currently attending college and look forward to graduating at the end of this year. I will be starting school again at a four-year university next spring (Go Bulls wink wink). I want to be an OBGYN when I graduate and have no plans of slowing down any time soon. I hope to inspire our readers and get them excited about looking awesome.
Have you tried the LOC method? I have 3c/4a hair and I have the same problem. Now I just do it the night before along with the EASE method to make sure I moisturize everywhere. Now my hair doesn’t get dry.
