Hey dolls! I know it’s been a while, I know, I know….BUT we here at SPGD promised you a comeback, and DAMNIT, a comeback is what you’re gonna get….starting with what we started this blog out with: HAIR! So, I’ll be completely honest with ya: the past several months have been filled with 4 hour sleep schedules, baby tending, working at the news station, sometimes working on Jeff (heeeeey ;-) ), but not much product sampling and fancy doos. To be quite honest, I haven’t had much time for it! In fact, at the moment, I’m rocking mini twists, because I just can’t be bothered. SERIOUSLY. So, here I am, about a year after my last hair post with a post for you about how my hair has been! The past several months have not been spent with much focus on my coif, but I have been trying to at least keep it moisturized so it will grow. I find that leaving my hair alone is the best way to get it to grow like weeds. So, that’s kinda what I’ve been doing. I’ve also been drinking tons of water and taking vitamins as well! It’s been a while since I tracked my progress, so I figured I’d trim my ends and start from scratch! My goal is to grow 2 inches by the end of this year. I’m just gonna play it by “hair” and listen to my body, but this should be interesting. lol! At the moment, I have been moisturizing with a mixture of Darcy’s Botanicals Leave In Condition and their watermelon seed oil in a spray bottle of water. The stuff is amazing and works great for quenching my tresses daily. When I run out of of DB’s Leave In, I substitute with Cantu Shea Butter. I will admit, I prefer DB though!

Here’s my most recent length check on freshly trimmed hair:
