Happy Monday Dolls!!! Remember when I promised you a finished product on the Curlformers on Mini Twists? Well, here it is! Let’s recap! I installed my mini twists by myself and it took me all of four days! This is what they looked like before I put the curlformers on them!

Here’s my hair when I took out the Curlformers (fluffed and styled):
Not too shabby huh? The curlformers did not disappoint! My hair was full of springy, bouncy, fully spiraled curls! They were soft and held their form, even in the very humid, moist weather. I bet you guys are dying to know what I used for the hold and SHINE of those curls! You do see that shine, right? Well dolls, I used….Aveda Be Curly Style Prep! Y’all….OMG! That stuff is the TRUTH! Aveda Be Curly Style Prep promised to add moisture and curl definition as it seals the cuticle, taming frizz all day. It does everything it promises and then some! It smells incredible and boasts a list of natural products that include organic lime, lemon, bergamot, orange and other pure plant and flower essences! Though the product is steep in price at $24.oo for a 3.4 oz. canister, the hold and effectiveness of the product is such that you don’t have to use much! I give this product a green light, 5 star, two thumbs up review! Oh and PS, those curls that you see in the first shot before I put in those curlformers are courtesy of the Aveda Style Prep. I swear, my curls were POPPIN! Anyway, I absolutely love this product and have already bought another canister! My curlformer set held for 3 days and I intend on doing them again next weekend! How long did it take to do your minitwists? It takes me up to 7 hours, only to have to take them down and wash it 1 week later.

Girl, it took me all of FOUR DAYS to twist my hair. I twisted about 2 hours a day, so it was about the same amount of time I suppose. Why did you have to take them down so soon though?!?!? I plan on leaving these puppies in for ATLEAST another 3 weeks. LOL! Thanks so much for visiting and I hope you return!
