Well look who it is. If it is Sherica rising from the depths of her hot and budding romance with her significant other. Since Taneica wanted to put me and my business on blast in her last post I figured why not play up on it myself lol. But on a serious note I’ve gotta be honest with you guys, It feels like I haven’t seen the light of day in ages. I’ve been ghost not only because I have yet to come up for air from my new relationship, but also because I’ve been working my ass off, moving into a new apartment AND preparing for graduation in 6 weeks! So much has been happening for me in the past couple of months and I’m just trying to keep everything somewhat in order but I gotta say, this is EXHAUSTING! However in the midst of it all, I’ve been able to do a product review here and there. Most recent was the TangleFix hand held brush by Goody. One day I was going through the hair care aisle of my local Walmart store and stumbled upon the solution to my detangling distress. Now when I first picked it up and read the features I was a bit skeptical. There was no way that this so called “tangle fix” was gonna be any match for my tight coils. But for 6.99 I said , “why not” and took it home for and an immediate test trial. So while lathering my hair with conditioner I decided to put this brush to good use and see what it was made of. While we’re on the topic of what this product is indeed made of, it’s a small hand held brush made up of super flexible, tiny bristles that aid in separating each strand of hair individually during the detangling process to later reveal softer, more manageable, tangle free tresses, and that’s exactly what it did. This product surprised me, and where I thought it wouldn’t be able too sufficiently detangle my hair the way I prefer, it did just that and then some. The only problem I had with this product was afterwards when I dried and styled my hair, I noticed that my curls weren’t as defined as they were when I finger comb my wet tresses in the shower. But maybe that was to be expected. Either way it did what it was supposed to and efficiently, quickly and rather painlessly detangled my hair. This product is ideal for naturals who rock wash n’go’s as often as I do which is damn near ever day. It’s a carefree way to keep knots and tangles at bay and your curls soft and manageable. Not to mention you can’t go wrong with the price. We spend more on leave-in conditioners and shea moisture products…seriously.
