Hey there dolls! I know it’s been several days since my last post, but it’s been hectic over here. Monday, I was ill, and Tuesday, I had to take Bean to the doctor’s office for an irritated eye. Turns out she has pink eye. Sigh. I am currently trying to figure out a set schedule that will allow me to fuss over Bean and efficiently blog, edit videos, respond to emails, etc, but at the moment, I’ve been struggling to keep my head above water.
The good news is I’ve been able to maintain a mostly healthy diet, and haven’t really gained back the weight I lost from two weeks of the AHA diet. Bad news is, I’m still not losing as much weight as I want to.
I should be losing weight at warped speed though, because Twyla has been IN my grub every night, It doesn’t matter what I’m eating or if I get her a plate of her own, she insists on sharing MY plate of food with ME. I’ve even tried acting like my food tastes horrible in hopes that she’ll lose interest, but I think she’s on to me. lol!
This weather is threatening to take the wind out of my sails, but I’ve managed to drudge through the snow 3 to 4 times a week so that I’m getting some fresh air and moving my joints. When I’m inside with Bean,I line dance. Don’t judge. LOL! Line dancing is an excellent way to get your heart rate up and your pores sweatin’! My favorite one to do is Get Low, because it works your thigh and but like you wouldn’t believe. Don’t believe me? Try it for yourself!
The sun is supposed to debut in 2 weeks, and I am counting down! All I need is 60 degrees for me to be out and about with a stupid grin on my face! lol! How’s your weight loss journey going?
