Hey Dolls!!!! Sorry you haven’t heard from me in a while. I’ve been super busy all of last week with studying for my finals…ugh. On the flip side, last Saturday (the 11th) was my birthday, YEAAAAA !!! You know what that means….I was looking better than a hot plate lmao, and I took tons of pictures! But first things first, length check time! When I went to my hair dresser last Friday to get my hair pressed and styled for my birthday festivities, I was finally able to do my long awaited length check. Here were the results!
These pictures were taken before my ends were trimmed.
It wasn’t as long as I originally thought it would’ve been. But She didn’t get my hair as straight as she had in the past either. None the less, I’ve become more of a health and volume N.D. (natural diva), rather than a length one. Basically I’m okay if my hair never reaches the back of my calves, as long as its healthy and voluminous ! From my trip to the hairdresser, I’ve realized that I need to take better care of my ends ( I need to start moisturizing more at night). Other than that the overall health of my hair was fantastic, which makes for a very happy me!!!!!
I’m 24 and live in Florida. However I dream of moving to a city thats big enough for me and my in your face personality! I love all things hip hop and artsy as well as enjoying a good urban novel every now and then. I am currently attending college and look forward to graduating at the end of this year. I will be starting school again at a four-year university next spring (Go Bulls wink wink). I want to be an OBGYN when I graduate and have no plans of slowing down any time soon. I hope to inspire our readers and get them excited about looking awesome.
