Is It Just Me Or Has My Fro Grown?

Okay Dolls, so I’m super excited right now because yesterday after taking down my “juicy braidout” I was very pleased to find out that my hair has made some massive growth since I last cut it in February.  Yes, just 2 months ago I cut off all the dead and damaged ends from my hair and began to rock a shorter Deva cut.  Since then I’ve had two henna treatments for each of the two months since my hair has been cut.  I wanted to take the best care of my hair that I could.  I didn’t wanna relive the “attack of the split ends” that I had to endure before the cut.  But let me tell you something, when I say those henna treatments were PHENOMENAL in getting my hair back to the healthiest it’s ever been, I mean it!  Now my hair is MORE voluminous, STRONGER and more importantly the HEALTHIEST it’s ever been!  I finally feel like my hair is beginning to return the extra love that I’ve been giving it, and I couldn’t be happier.  To say I love my hair would be an understatement.  Here are some before and after pictures of my hair’s progress!

This is the night that I had just gotten the cut. My hair was lightly moisturized prior to the cut, but not damp.

And here's a picture I took yesterday morning! I also lost a little weight *giggles*

I always used to be one of those people that said my hair never grew fast.  Well I mean when your sister is someone like Taneica who’s hair grows after each wash, it’s easy to feel that way lol.  But I’m so shocked at the rapid progress of my hair, I’m practically speechless!  Let me know what you think Dolls!  I need someone to indulge in my happiness with me lol!

I’m 24 and live in Florida. However I dream of moving to a city thats big enough for me and my in your face personality! I love all things hip hop and artsy as well as enjoying a good urban novel every now and then. I am currently attending college and look forward to graduating at the end of this year. I will be starting school again at a four-year university next spring (Go Bulls wink wink). I want to be an OBGYN when I graduate and have no plans of slowing down any time soon. I hope to inspire our readers and get them excited about looking awesome.

lol you guys are silly. @Charlene, I used then henna that’s made specifically for African hair and I believe it’s called Ancient sunrise.  You can purchase it from
http://www.mehandi.com/shop/african/index.html . @ Katherine, that henna is no joke! This was after 2 treatments, one for each month .I also kept up with treating my ends so that I didn’t get back into the terrible split ends drama that I had prior to my hair cut.  That and I guess my friends hands just agree with my hair lol.
