Good Morning Dolls! Today’s lookbook post is a super special one for me, because I made the top! Excuse me as I go sit in a corner and burst with pride….lol! A couple of years ago, my mother went to England for the Summer Olympics. For those of you who have been following this blog for a while, you may already know that I love to knit. What you may NOT know is that I LOVE yarn. It’s a knitting/crochet thing. So, when my mom asked me what I would like from the UK, I asked for 8 balls of very rare, super luxurious, silk yarn from Colinette. I first experienced this yarn at my old local yarn store in Florida. The yarn was so super soft and had a silky shine and feel to it. I was in love! Well, here we are, years later, and I have finally found a project to use this yarn for! It’s the boho blouse from a knitting pattern book called Glam Knits. The boho blouse knitted up beautifully, but upon completion, I found it to be a bit…impractical. The sleeves are connected to the body of the blouse, making it difficult to lift my arms… lol. All in all, it’s super cayute! The part throughout the torso is super flattering. I actually look forward to making it with modified sleeves next time! Here’s a couple pics!
