Happy Monday Glamazons!!! Today’s Taneica Fashionista post features a very blush and rose gold color pallet. I paired a blush pullover sweater with a white dress.
For my makeup, I got a little experimental and tried a rose gold color pallet on my eye lids. I’m actually pleasantly surprised by how the eye shadow combo turned out!
I usually steer clear of lighter colors because I’m afraid that everything that’s not a deep or jewel tone will look white on me. Not sexy. The color payoff was excellent though! More about the shadows I used later. I still can’t seem to put down these super sexy bow pumps. I’ve worn them in past Taneica Fashionista posts, shown here and here. They’re not the most comfortable shoes on the planet, but damnit if they don’t make my legs look like I lifted them off of the legendary Tina Turner.
I wouldn’t wear these shoes anywhere that doesn’t require me to perch myself on a bar stool and look sexy. #toopainful. I finished the look with accessories in the form of a feather clutch and a green pearl and gemstone necklace. I was going for something that was flirty, fun, and put together, but relaxed! Ok, so, back to my makeup! I actually am wearing two colors for my main color. I’ve watched enough YouTube videos to know that if you can’t find the exact shade that you’re looking for, you can make your own by blending and mixing colors! So, I got a little brave and used Charisma Skin Tint from Lush as a base on my eyelids. I then used Color Tattoo Metal from Maybelline in “Inked in Pink.” I then put the shade Sequin from ColourPop on top of that to give it a warmer, gold tone. For my transition shadow, I chose Brownie from Ulta’s eye shadow line, and viola, Rose Gold eyelids! If you’d like to see a tutorial on exactly what I did, I can totally do that! Just send me a message or comment on any of my many social media platforms! This look is perfect for a lunch date or brunch with friends! Comment below and let me know what you think about this look!
Before I go, I wanna remind you guys to check out my Youtube channel for videos every week! I’m actually starting a new series over there today called The Fashioning. Every Monday, I will take five minutes to review what was fabulous and what flopped on the red carpet during the weekend prior. That’s kinda how I gained popularity here in central Illinois, so why not bring it around full circle to you dolls too! In addition to this series, I will also do more product reviews, tutorials, hauls and the like. Tune in, share, thumbs up and like! Other places that you can find me are Instagram @tlove_swag, on Facebook at This Week In Chic and of course, on my Shatterproof Glass Dolls Facebook page. Thanks so much for stopping by and I hope you have an amazing week! Until next time, stay fabulous dolls!
