Last night while watching track and field I was able to witness history as Grenadian teenager Kirani James brought his country to victory by winning the 400m final and taking home the island’s first Olympic medal ever! Plus it was a gold medal at that! The 19 year old champion came in at a time of 43.94 seconds, and while some may call him “the Jaguar” I’ve respectably nick named him “Sundae” because his dark, chocolatey complexion makes him look like he should be atop one…….;-). Anyways I’m extremely excited for the people of Grenada on their HUGE win at this year’s summer Olympics! I know the partying over there wont be stopping for at least another 2 months.
